I build things that are
Engineer with a product mindset. I go from 0→1 fast — shipping full-stack apps, AI models, and hardware prototypes, then owning the outcome.
I'm a Computer Science senior at SDSU graduating May 2026, with a Mathematics minor. I'm wired to think like a PM and build like an engineer — I care deeply about why something is built, not just how.
I've shipped patent-pending ML models, submitted research to IEEE/ACM, led a 450-member coding community, and built production software used company-wide — all while TA-ing graduate courses as the only undergrad TA in my department. I thrive at the intersection of user problems, technical craft, and cross-functional leadership.
Off-screen: I'm a certified spin instructor — which means I'm equally comfortable reading a room, setting the pace, and making sure everyone leaves having given everything they've got. 🚴
Organizing SDSU's AI-focused hackathon, sponsored by the Zip Launchpad. Built around fast-tracked, AI-powered development — giving students a high-pressure environment to go from idea to shipped product in hours. Coordinating sponsors, mentors, judges, and the full event experience end-to-end.
Designed and built SDSU's CodeBlitz competitive programming competition from the ground up — personally authored the problem sets, wrote Python autograding scripts for instant judging, and managed all event logistics. Creating the kind of high-stakes competitive environment that sharpens real engineering instincts.
A full-featured spin class planning tool built from scratch because I needed it myself. Instructors can build complete ride playlists with RPM ranges, intensity levels (Low → MAX), and per-move durations — with a real-time total duration tracker. Integrates Spotify and SoundCloud for track search and BPM detection, includes an inspiration bank, drag-and-drop move ordering, and one-click playlist export. Designed for working instructors, not as a demo.

Certified part-time spin instructor at The Dose Fitness. Teaching is an exercise in product thinking — read the room, set the tempo, adjust on the fly, and deliver an experience people come back for. That same energy shows up in everything I build. Come ride with me.
Reviewed 100+ academic papers in 100+ hours to produce a comprehensive literature synthesis on LLM use-cases in code understanding. Enhanced a deep learning code search engine using LLM pre-training techniques and natural language query optimization — helping developers find code with plain English.

Built data pipelines and visualizations to analyze algae growth patterns for Airbuild's microalgae-based wastewater treatment system — a carbon-negative cleantech platform treating water for municipalities. Used Firebase, AWS, Pandas, and NumPy to process and surface live sensor data. Airbuild's automated algae harvesting system is separately patent pending.

Standalone WiFi-enabled wearable fall detector built with an Arduino Nano ESP32 + MPU6050 IMU. Uses a Signal Magnitude Vector (SMV) threshold algorithm running locally on-device for orientation-independent detection — achieving sub-2-second alert latency via Discord webhook. Under $35 to build with no subscription. Currently being developed further at SDSU's Zip Launchpad.

Designed and shipped a full-stack project-management platform from zero — currently in company-wide beta. Wearing many hats as AI + Software Engineer II: built backend APIs, integrated Firebase and AWS infrastructure, and trained an internal LLM on company drawings and operational data for intelligent task assistance.

Integrated multi-source data pipeline into a dynamic insights dashboard deployed to the entire North American marketing and insights teams. Influenced real product and social media strategy decisions.
Researching and building custom GPTs that emulate a course-specific tutor — trained on a class's actual materials, syllabi, and assignments. Designed to give students a personalized, always-available learning assistant that knows exactly what they're studying.
Custom portfolio website built with Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and JS — published and maintained on GitHub Pages. Continuously updated as a living showcase of work and skills.
